The name
Why 2nd wind.
Runners know the moment. Somewhere in a long race your legs go heavy and your breath runs short. That’s the wall. Push through it and something changes: your breathing settles and you find strength you didn’t know you had. That’s your second wind.
IT tends to fail firms at exactly those moments: the night before a filing deadline or a submission, the weekend a provider walks away, the week an auditor or an investor asks for proof. Our job is to be the strength you find when everyone else has run out of air.
